Picasso at the De Young


Last week we went to see the Picasso exhibit at the De Young. It was really a beautifully curated show with a great range of popular and lesser known works. I loved the sense of freedom I discovered; his ability to move effortlessly from one medium to the next without fear and worry. It was very liberating for me as an artist to feel this and I hope to be more trusting in my own creative desires.

Nude, Green Leaves and Bust


The worlds most expensive painting, sold for $106.5m, goes on display in London's Tate Modern. Painted in 1932 by Pablo Picasso.
